How Sitewater information is used

Purchases and access

For paid access, Sitewater uses your verified email, project identifier, property-location anchor, purchase references, and product grants to provide and recover access and handle support or refunds. Owner/tester codes can be redeemed without email using a secure browser session and the same product-grant system. Supabase stores identity and commercial records, Stripe processes payments, and Resend delivers verification and purchase emails. Sitewater does not store payment-card details.

Tank Analysis temporarily processes authorized calculation inputs and results in private server storage. Jobs expire after 30 minutes; expired data is removed by scheduled cleanup and during subsequent processing. This temporary storage does not provide project recovery or synchronization.

Project inputs, geometry, plant lists, and Results remain on your device and in backups you download. Signing in restores access information, not your project content. Transactional emails are separate from marketing consent.

Product analytics

Sitewater records limited landing-page, workflow and purchase events to understand completion and conversion. Within a browser session, we record the entry page, external referring website name and limited campaign labels, when available, using an anonymous session identifier. We do not retain full referring URLs or use persistent visitor-tracking cookies. Analytics do not include your email, address, mapped geometry, or plant lists. Raw events use pseudonymous identifiers and are retained for 90 days; non-identifying aggregate metrics may be retained longer. Purchase and refund records are retained separately for commercial support and recordkeeping.

Information collected

A consultation request collects your name, email, project city or general location, the type of help requested, and any optional project description you provide.

Results summaries

When you request help from Results, Rainwater Studio shows a concise summary before submission. That summary is included by default. You can uncheck the consent box to submit the request without the summary; doing so does not prevent submission.

How information is used

The information is used to review and respond to your consultation inquiry. It is not added to a newsletter or marketing list, sold to advertisers, or automatically transferred to a separate CRM.

Netlify form processing

Rainwater Studio is hosted on Netlify, which processes and stores form submissions as the hosting and form-service provider. Netlify account settings control form notifications and submission management.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of a consultation submission, use the Rainwater Studio pre-analysis help form, choose Other, and write Privacy or deletion request in the project-description field. Include the email address used for the original request so the submission can be located.
